The Boys' Love remake of "Buppesannivas: Love Destiny" will air on Channel 3 and iQIYI on July 14, featuring Aukus Vachirawichญ Paisalkulvongse as Phodeach and Leng Thanapol Uusintrapum as Phogaew.
Both actors expressed excitement about the upcoming release. Aukus noted feeling enthusiastic after seeing the teaser and praised the many charming scenes filmed during production. Leng similarly expressed eagerness to see the full series alongside viewers on July 14.
For Leng, this marks his first period drama role, allowing him to experience new character dimensions beyond contemporary settings. He'll wear traditional costumes and immerse himself in historical life. Aukus, too, faced new challenges with the period setting, including learning horseback riding and sword techniques, plus understanding different language styles. He credited director Naiw Bhawat, who directed the original version, for providing clear guidance that made each scene complete and well-executed.
Both actors emphasized working with director Naiw, who communicated his vision clearly, helping them align their performances with his expectations. Leng felt honored collaborating with such a skilled production team.
Regarding Thai cultural representation through costumes, food, and historical elements, Leng expressed hope the series would serve as Thai soft power, allowing global audiences to appreciate Thai heritage, history, and lifestyle. Aukus thanked the director and crew for filming at authentic historical locations, showcasing Thailand's natural beauty.
When asked about intimate scenes in this BL version, Aukus admitted it was challenging—his first male love scene in over a decade of acting—but ultimately felt satisfied with the execution given the setting, atmosphere, and well-written script. Leng found intimate scenes less difficult, explaining that as an actor he naturally understood both characters and how their relationship developed throughout the story, making such scenes feel organic rather than awkward.
The actors mentioned attending workshops together to break down barriers, get to know each other better, and understand each other's preferences, which eased their on-set collaboration. Aukus noted that their similar personalities and shared interests helped overcome initial concerns about difficulty.
