The younger brother exposes another angle on 'Uncle Kham,' who went from estate manager to homeless person claiming his inheritance was seized, revealing his abdominal wound was not inflicted by his sister.
In the case of Ba Khan, or Uncle Kham (surname withheld), age 64, who set up a makeshift bed at a pavilion and opened a stall selling morning glory, shellfish, and fermented fish to survive, claiming he was the estate manager but was driven out by his biological sister who wanted to seize the land assets, and was stabbed in the abdomen by his sister nearly to death, as previously reported.
Most recently, on October 28, 2026, Pinthong (surname withheld), age 57, Ba Khan's biological younger brother, came forward to reveal the other side of the truth, confirming that everything Ba Khan claimed is completely untrue.
Pinthong stated that the family inheritance was originally divided equally among all children by their parents, with an older sister serving as co-estate manager. However, Ba Khan sold his own share until it was gone. Not only that, he secretly took his sister's and other siblings' land to sell and mortgage at finance companies multiple times.
When finance companies in Nong Han district refused to accept them, he crossed over to Kut Chap district to mortgage them, forcing the sister to file a lawsuit to become sole estate manager.
Previously, Ba Khan was prosecuted for fraud from selling siblings' land and served a one-month prison sentence. Relatives, out of compassion, pooled money to bail him out, with his promise to reform. But he ultimately returned to repeatedly attempt to sell relatives' land fraudulently, making his behavior well-known among local villagers.
Regarding the stab wound to the abdomen, Pinthong clarified it did not come from the sister as Ba Khan claimed. It resulted from Ba Khan deceiving a lawyer into buying land that wasn't his. When the lawyer discovered the fraud, an argument escalated to a physical fight involving weapons.
The younger brother confirms no one in the family drove Ba Khan from the house; he fled on his own because he couldn't face the villagers. Even while he slept at the pavilion, relatives and nieces/nephews visited regularly, giving him 400-500 baht each time. If he chooses to return home, the family remains ready to forgive and welcome him.
Meanwhile, villagers in the area shake their heads at his behavior and unanimously confirm that Ba Khan's previous interview was entirely fabricated to solicit sympathy.
