The Budget Committee's special meeting convened at 1:30 p.m. on July 2, 2569 at Parliament, chaired temporarily by Wan Muhamad Nor Matha, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, to select committee leadership positions. The meeting approved Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekanit Nititundprasop as chairman. The nine vice-chairs include Phairadorn Prisnanuntakul, Anuruk Jurimas, Boonchai Vongtrirattana, Pimphattra Vichaikul, Monphorn Chareongsri, Chiraphon Sinthuphrai, Surajet Praveenavongvuthi, Air Vice Marshal Anudit Nakrothorn, and Amphorn Pinasaa. The committee has four secretaries: Peerapat Ratchakitprakarn, Pichyutom Porchjit, Ravi Lekuthai, and Prasit Noto. Three spokespersons were appointed: Kraweir Prisnanuntakul, Natthadit Thepsutin, and Nattachat Vongprasert. Six advisors include Wan Muhamad Nor, Chada Thaiseraset, Veera Theerapattananont, Boonchai Prasopkitthawon, Flight Officer Saran Samamnpan, and Pramesot Jina. The meeting established a meeting schedule from Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays, with sessions from 1:00-7:00 p.m. on Mondays and 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, ending at 4:00 p.m. on Fridays.
