Cabinet Approves Shuffling of Nine Senior Agriculture Officials
Thailand's Cabinet approved the transfer of nine senior agriculture officials following the appointment of a new permanent secretary, with selections based on work dedication, integrity, and competence.
At 9:35 a.m. on July 27, 2025, at Government House, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit announced that following last week's Cabinet resolution appointing Raphiphat Chanthasriwoong as the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the ministry will today propose the transfer of nine senior civil servants. The selections were based on work dedication, integrity, and competence. Suriya clarified that nine positions are being proposed for Cabinet approval, including transfers from government inspectors to deputy permanent secretary roles, and reiterated that such appointments are the responsibility of the Permanent Secretary and not the minister.
