A crane boom has been dismantled following damage caused by strong winds at a condominium construction site in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. Police Major Rangsarn Sonsing from Pathum Wan Police Station's investigation unit reported at approximately 5:50 p.m. on July 11, 2026 that the crane cable snapped at the construction site near Wat Duang Kaew on Charoen Muang Road, Rong Muang Subdistrict. According to inquiries with the site supervisor, strong winds caused the crane's tip to break. No injuries or deaths have been reported, though property damage is still being assessed. Municipal engineers have been contacted to conduct inspections. Project engineers are currently on-site evaluating structural damage and have begun dismantling the damaged boom from the crane before continuing operations.
