Defense Minister Adul Bunthamcharoen visited the Joint Information Center (JIC) on the Thailand-Cambodia situation at the Air Force Doctrine Center to monitor progress, assess readiness, and set policy for border communications. He emphasized that the center must communicate based on verified, transparent facts, uphold government policy and international law, and protect national interests, sovereignty, and public safety. The minister also stressed coordination among security, foreign affairs, and related agencies to ensure consistent messaging domestically and internationally, pushing proactive communication through diverse channels using verified information to reduce misunderstandings and promote peaceful resolution. The JIC confirmed full operational readiness with integrated multi-agency cooperation, enhanced verification and dissemination processes, and continuous monitoring to provide accurate, timely information to the public, guided by the principle that truth is the foundation, unity is strength, transparency builds trust, and peace is the shared goal.
