Ichiro Yakiniku, a popular charcoal grill buffet restaurant that has been a fixture in the Sukhumvit-Lad Prao neighborhood for 14 years, is closing its doors. The restaurant announced on its official Facebook page that it will cease operations on May 31, 2026. In their closure announcement, management expressed that the current economic conditions have severely impacted the business, which has accumulated losses for approximately two years. "Due to ongoing economic challenges, Ichiro Yakiniku has suffered significant losses and can no longer continue operations," the statement read. The restaurant thanked customers for their support throughout the 14 years, expressing gratitude for the smiles, laughter, and encouragement patrons provided. The restaurant will remain open until May 31, with management noting that these memories will remain forever.
