Channel One 31 invites viewers into the romance drama of the year, "Sukunya's Hidden Love," a Thai original from oneD ORIGINAL, directed by Thokklakaiat Veerawan.
Lead actor 'Film' Thanaphat Kaavila plays 'Perm,' a promising young civil servant, taking on his first major challenge opposite co-lead 'Tesh Myron,' who portrays 'Tone,' a young driver concealing love and longing. The drama also features a significant role transformation for actress 'Perth' Veerunyasra Tangkitsuwanich, playing 'Sern,' an innocent young woman of Chinese descent with no understanding of love.
The supporting cast includes Nok Sinjai (Lady Pani), Kob Songsit (Khun Suawkuang), Niu Akravint (Term), Pimmie Pimplap (Rairai), Moo Kol (Khun Phrapipat Rattada), Jeeb Paveena (Lang), and Win Songsine (Chin), among others.
"Sukunya's Hidden Love" tells the story of Sern (Perth Veerunyasra), daughter of a rice trading tycoon, who marries Perm (Film Thanaphat), a promising young civil servant. Their honeymoon burns hot with passion, but fate intervenes when Perm is stationed in Phang Nga for over three months, leaving Sern to face Lady Pani (Nok Sinjai), her mother-in-law, who constantly oppresses and belittles her. Sern's only solace is waiting for her husband's embrace and affection. However, when Perm returns, everything changes. He becomes cold, indifferent, and completely rejects Sern's touch. As her heart shatters and her body yearns for warmth, Tone (Tesh Myron), a young driver, becomes her only companion, offering escape from the suffocation of her home. Their closeness breeds an irresistible desire. When this captive "Sukunya" longs to break free from her cage, will she dare to cross the line of propriety into a forbidden relationship that should never exist?
'Film Thanaphat' shared his experience working on "Sukunya's Hidden Love," saying: "I gave it my all, and it's extreme in every way. From the intimate scenes where everyone gave their full commitment—achieved through thorough discussion before each shoot—to scenes where everyone was willing to fully commit in everything, not just romance scenes. Viewers will see new things and new perspectives, whether it's new cast members like Tesh Myron, or new acting approaches from myself and Perth. I hope you'll follow Sukunya's Hidden Love."
'Perth Veerunyasra' revealed her transformation into the role of 'Sern,' saying: "This is another new challenge for Perth. The character carries emotional complexity, requiring me to convey hidden feelings beneath her quiet exterior clearly to the audience. Everything is shut off—whether it's novels or anything related to love. She wasn't allowed to know anything, so she doesn't understand what love is. Perth finds the character very interesting and has never encountered something this unique before. I wanted the opportunity to try it and truly believe in this character, to see how far I could push it."
'Tesh Myron' stated: "Sukunya's Hidden Love is quite an intense romance series. This has the most romantic and intimate scenes I've ever done. Fortunately, I got to work with very professional actors and a director. The production also creates an atmosphere where all actors feel completely safe, giving us confidence. Working with Film—he's an excellent senior and a skilled actor, like my acting mentor. And with Perth, she's charming and very talented. Every time we enter a scene, she helps me. Film, Perth, and I became close from the start.
