On May 14, 2025, misinformation claiming the Office of the Prime Minister's Secretary General would propose special public holidays to the Cabinet, resulting in extended break periods in June and July 2025, began circulating online. Rachada Tharadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, declared the reports completely false. Rachada stated that there is currently no consideration, proposal, or Cabinet resolution on this matter, and called on the public to carefully verify information before believing or sharing it further, as it could lead to widespread misunderstanding. She urged citizens to rely only on official news sources, which can be verified through the Office of the Prime Minister's Secretary General.
