Fern Announces She Wants Kids After Seeing Mind Pregnant; Set to Travel to China with Mario to Revive 'Nam-Chon' Legend
Thai actress Fern Pimchanok will travel to China with co-star Mario Maurer for a reunion event, inspired partly by her friend Mind's pregnancy announcement that sparked her own desire for children.
The legendary 'Nam-Chon' pairing is generating buzz again as Thai actress Fern Pimchanok announced she's preparing to travel to China with co-star Mario Maurer for an upcoming event. The announcement came during the Netflix action-romance film premiere for 'Blood Love: The Killer' at Siam Paragon shopping center, where Fern updated fans about their trip amid excitement from fans eagerly awaiting the duo's reunion after a lengthy hiatus from working together. She expressed genuine gratitude for the unwavering support from Chinese fans over the years, noting she'd attempt to learn some Chinese greetings despite never having studied the language.
When asked about security concerns surrounding recent incidents of fan harassment targeting multiple artists, Fern acknowledged she's experienced some uncomfortable moments but emphasized they occur rarely and remain manageable. She shared an anecdote about her manager being slapped while protecting her, but maintained she doesn't worry excessively about such incidents, estimating they've happened only twice in her past ten trips. She dismissed concerns about this upcoming visit, noting she'd only be there for three days with just one event scheduled.
Fern also revealed an emotional moment when her close friend Mind Labhanshal surprised her during Chinese New Year by secretly visiting her home and presenting her with oranges arranged as a baby ultrasound photo—a creative way to announce her pregnancy. Fern tearfully admitted the heartwarming surprise that Mind had long expressed wanting a baby after marriage, and she's now delighted to become an aunt. She confirmed she's preparing gifts for her future nephew or niece and humorously noted she'll be called 'Aunt Fern' by the baby. Though currently without romantic plans, Fern playfully hinted she already has someone in mind for her own future motherhood.
