A 10-meter section of the barrier on the Tha Khee Lek side, opposite the Koh Saai community, has collapsed from water pressure, causing concern among local residents. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall since 7 p.m. in Muang District, Chiang Rai Province, caused water from Doi Lik Khao to overflow, flooding one lane of Phaholyothin Road near the Mae Phu Ka community entrance. Disaster prevention officials and Ban Du police set up warning lights to prevent accidents. By approximately 9 p.m., rainfall had decreased significantly and water levels had dropped noticeably, with normal traffic conditions expected to resume shortly.
