Giant Python Captured After Devouring Homeowner's Cats
Rescue workers in Chachoengsao captured a 4-meter python suspected of eating a homeowner's cats over several months. The 30-kilogram snake was found in a storage room and safely removed by four rescuers.
Rescue workers in Sattahip, Chachoengsao responded to an emergency call from 75-year-old Nai Pailin on the evening of July 7, 2569 (2026), reporting a massive python that had invaded her home. The homeowner said she had suspected the snake of eating several of her pet cats over recent months and had even attempted to grab its tail, but the serpent was too strong.
Rescue officials arrived to find a large python monocled snake measuring over 4 meters long in the storage room with a visibly full belly. It took a combined effort of four rescue workers and local residents approximately 10 minutes to safely secure the snake in a fertilizer bag for transport back to nature. The serpent weighed nearly 30 kilograms.
The homeowner believes this massive snake—possibly a king cobra or queen serpent—brought her good luck. She has decided to use her house number, 73/22, in the upcoming lottery draw, along with the rescue code 142-312 and her age of 75.
