On September 11, rescue workers from Phra Chonok Town in Uthai Thani Province responded to a call from a homeowner who reported hearing strange noises coming from the ceiling for several days. Upon arrival at the two-story semi-concrete house, rescuers located the sound source and carefully removed a section of ceiling to investigate. They discovered a large python coiled on the ceiling with a visibly distended belly. Rescue workers carefully extracted the snake, which measured 4.5 meters long and weighed 40 kilograms, and later released it back into nature. The homeowner explained that she kept 6-7 cats and several birds in the house, but had noticed all her birds had disappeared and heard the strange ceiling noises, prompting her to call for help. She was relieved to learn that her cats remained safe, though the python had consumed all of her pet birds.
