Thai Football Association Approves Nearly 100 Million Baht in League Funding
The Football Association of Thailand distributed nearly 100 million baht in subsidies to professional clubs across all three leagues, with Thai League 1 teams receiving the largest payments in the first installment on September 10.
Nualphan Lamsam, president of the Football Association of Thailand, has approved the first payment of subsidies to professional football clubs across all three Thai leagues. The 16 clubs in Thai League 1 each received 3,750,000 baht in the first installment, totaling 60 million baht. The 18 clubs in Thai League 2 each received 1 million baht, totaling 18 million baht. The 69 clubs in Thai League 3 each received 312,500 baht, totaling 21,562,500 baht. All payments were distributed on September 10. For the full season, Thai League 1 clubs will receive 15 million baht each, Thai League 2 clubs will receive 4 million baht each, and Thai League 3 clubs will receive 1,250,000 baht each, to be paid in four installments.
