PTT Global Chemical is offering up to 17 billion baht in unsecured bonds with two maturity options—7 years at 2.65% or 10 years at 3.00%—to the public starting September 14, with subscriptions available through six major Thai banks.
PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), a leader in international chemical products and core chemical business of the PTT Group, is offering unsecured, unguaranteed bonds with bondholder representative rights to the general public. The bonds are divided into two series: a 7-year maturity with 2.65% annual interest and a 10-year maturity with 3.00% annual interest, with subscription open in three phases between September 14-21, 2025. The bonds have been assigned an AA-(tha) credit rating by Fitch Ratings Thailand on July 20, 2025.
The offering is divided into three phases: September 14-15 for existing PTTGC296A bondholders, September 16-17 for seniors aged 60 and above in 2025, and September 18-21 for the general public. Subscriptions are available through six major banks: Bangkok Bank, Krungthai Bank, Krungsri Bank, Kasikornbank, Thai Commercial Bank, and CIMB Thai Bank.
Titipong Julpon, Deputy Managing Director of Finance and Accounting at GC, stated that the bond offering aims to optimize capital structure and liquidity management. The company plans to issue no more than 17 billion baht, with proceeds replacing cash reserves earmarked for debt repayment. This will enhance financial liquidity and support the company's sustainable business growth. In the first six months of 2025, GC earned over 15.4 billion baht in net profit and held over 54 billion baht in cash and cash equivalents, while maintaining financial discipline with debt repayment of 24 billion baht planned for the year.
The minimum subscription value is set at 100,000 baht with increments of 100,000 baht, with no limit on individual investor purchases. Subscriptions can be made through branches or online systems of the six managing dealers. Interested investors can find additional details in the bond offering prospectus at www.sec.or.th or contact the managing dealers directly.
