The Gold Traders Association announced on July 1, 2026 that gold prices have declined further at market opening compared to the previous day's close. Ornamental gold is selling at 63,650 baht per baht weight. Prices have dropped 450 baht compared to June 30's closing price. According to the latest data from the Gold Traders Association released at 9:03 a.m., gold bars are trading at 62,650 baht per baht for domestic buyback and 62,850 baht per baht for selling. For 96.5% ornamental gold, the buyback price is 61,398 baht and the selling price is 63,650 baht per baht weight. Global gold spot prices are at 3,979 U.S. dollars per ounce. Gold traders predict that tomorrow's market opening will see prices surge 1,000 to 2,000 baht per baht, potentially exceeding 80,000 baht.
