The Gold Traders Association has announced that gold prices have surged again on May 8, 2569, compared to yesterday's closing rates, with ornamental gold selling at 73,000 baht per baht weight. Gold prices increased by 200 baht from May 7's final price, according to the latest data released by the Gold Traders Association at 9:08 AM. Gold bars are currently trading at a buying price of 72,000 baht per baht and selling price of 72,200 baht per baht in the domestic market. For 96.5% ornamental gold, the buying price stands at 70,554.64 baht per baht with a selling price of 73,000 baht per baht, while international gold spot prices are at $4,729.00 per ounce. According to gold traders, they expect the market to open tomorrow with gold prices potentially rising by 1,000-2,000 baht per baht, potentially breaching the 80,000-baht mark.
