Health Ministry Revokes Doctor's Dismissal After Commission Ruling
The Health Ministry revoked Dr. Supat Hasuwankit's dismissal following a Civil Service Commission ruling, with the doctor alleging the original punishment was politically motivated.
The Ministry of Public Health has issued a document revoking the severe disciplinary punishment against Mr. Supat Hasuwankit, in accordance with a Civil Service Commission resolution dated October 16, 2026. The document references the Commission's investigation under Section 103 of the Civil Service Act B.E. 2569, which resolved to revoke Ministry Order No. 5/2569 dated February 9, 2026, regarding dismissal from service, and an order revoking the dismissal punishment per the Commission's resolution has been issued. Mr. Supat stated that he has been informed of the revocation order but has not yet seen the official documents. Whether he will hold a press conference to clarify the matter depends on timing. However, he believes the original disciplinary punishment was political harassment, as it was issued just one day after the election.
