Former Prime Minister Pita Limjaroenrat posted a casual vacation photo on Instagram on August 1 to shut down rumors of a secret political agreement between Palang Pracharath party leader Thammakorn Prombharat and former PM Thaksin Shinawatra allegedly made in Monaco to orchestrate a change in prime minister. In her post, she wrote: "Just traveling and relaxing. No secret deals. The only deal I have is with my child. #ingsaway"
Earlier, Thammakorn had posted a Facebook video from his family vacation in France and Monaco, denying the political nature of the trip. He stated: "I really did travel to France and Monaco to relax with my family—there's no politics involved. I'm not the type to sneak around, and there's no reason for me to secretly cross the ocean to meet Thaksin in Monaco. I don't need to swear an oath anywhere; you can just check Thaksin's travel records and see he never went to Monaco. #NoMonacoAgreement"
