Kamphaeng Phet Police Raid Woman's Home Over Online Gambling Solicitation and Illegal Loan Operations
Police arrested a 37-year-old woman in Kamphaeng Phet on May 22 for operating online gambling solicitation and unlicensed lending schemes, seizing her phone and debtor records as investigators prepare to pursue others in the network.
On May 22, 2025, Pol. Col. Somkasem Jaraksa, superintendent of Kamphaeng Phet city police station, and Pol. Lt. Col. Sanya Kamkoet, deputy superintendent, led an investigation team along with Region 2 Division 4 officers to arrest Ms. A (pseudonym), 37 years old, on a warrant for online gambling solicitation and unlicensed personal lending operations. During the arrest, officers seized one mobile phone suspected of being used to communicate and post gambling solicitations, as well as 12 sheets of debtor list documents detailing illegal loan transactions. The suspect and all seized evidence have been transferred to Kamphaeng Phet city police for legal proceedings. Police are preparing to expand their investigation into the financial flow and online gambling network to apprehend other members of the operation.
