Ko Lanta Police Conduct Traffic Enforcement Checkpoint
Ko Lanta Police conducted a three-day traffic enforcement checkpoint this month, citing 16 violations including three riders without helmets and 13 without valid licenses.
From May 10-20, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., under the direction of Police Major Siritham Nakworn, superintendent of Ko Lanta Police Station, Police Lieutenant Sathapon Chollasak, deputy superintendent, coordinated with traffic officers to set up a traffic discipline checkpoint in front of the Ko Lanta Police Station. The enforcement results are as follows: 1. Three riders without helmets; 2. Thirteen riders without valid driving licenses.
