According to Romano, the player will transfer to Real Madrid following a completed agreement between both clubs. The transfer is valued at approximately 40 million euros, with personal contract terms already finalized. Should the move materialize, Lee Kang-In will return to Spanish football for another spell, having previously played for Valencia and Mallorca.
