Chiang Mai's earthquake monitoring unit reported a 2.2 magnitude earthquake centered in Tambon Wianghaeng, Amphoe Wianghaeng, Chiang Mai Province, occurring at 2:13 a.m. on July 17, 2026. Residents in Wianghaeng District were able to feel the tremor.
