Marat Grigoryan Advances in ONE Samurai Kickboxing Tournament

Armenian striker Marat Grigoryan advanced to the ONE Samurai Tournament final with a dominant points victory over Russian opponent Mamuka Usubiyan at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium on August 7.

The Inner Circle 25 event at Lumpinee Stadium (Rama Intra) on August 7 featured a main card headliner between former ONE bantamweight champion Nabil Anane and Suea Kim Pongsupan from Chanthaburi under Muay Thai rules at 135–145 pounds, with the winner advancing to a title shot. Prior to the main event, Armenian striker Marat Grigoryan faced Russian fighter Mamuka Usubiyan in a ONE Samurai Tournament semifinal match at featherweight (145–155 pounds). Grigoryan dominated the bout, confidently pressing forward and unleashing aggressive striking combinations to drive back Usubiyan before securing a decisive points victory and advancing to the next round.
