Neighborhood Alarmed After Woman Discovers Mysterious Bag at School Entrance Containing Important Documents
A woman found an abandoned black bag at a school entrance in Rayong on April 25th, prompting police to cordon off the area; inside were clothes and a divorce document rather than any dangerous items.
On April 26th, authorities reported that at 6:30 PM the previous day, an incident unfolded near Sukhumvit Road at the entrance to Phraksa Matawitthaya Rayong School. A concerned citizen notified police after discovering a black bag abandoned on the roadside in suspicious circumstances, raising fears it might contain a dangerous object and alarming passersby. Police units immediately rushed to inspect the area and cordoned off the surrounding zone to ensure safety, preventing unauthorized persons from approaching as school dismissal time meant numerous students and parents were present. Officers carefully examined the bag amid tense observation from onlookers, and when opened, everyone was surprised to find no dangerous items whatsoever. Instead, the bag was crammed full of clothing, and what shocked many was the discovery of a divorce document folded inside. Preliminary investigation suggests the bag may have belonged to someone facing personal or relationship difficulties who abandoned their belongings. Authorities continue examining the documents and reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the bag's owner and determine the true reason it was left there. Police have issued a public reminder that if anyone discovers a suspicious object in a public area, they should not attempt to open or touch it themselves, but should immediately report it to authorities to prevent potential dangers.
