This café in the Suan Phak neighborhood, discovered through Google Maps, serves genuinely delicious coffee. Upon entering, the serene atmosphere suits introverts or anyone seeking a quiet corner to work or read in peace.

But the real standout is the glass-walled view from the back overlooking a small pond and lush, refreshing garden.

While ordering drinks, we had the chance to chat with Art, the owner who also serves as a barista. He shared the delightfully creative origin of the café's name.

"The name O'asip comes from wordplay with 'Oasis.' You can see the small pond behind the café, so I combined the words to create Oasip, which means 'to sip,'" Art explained.

We sampled the medium-roast Americano—excellent flavor—and a Matcha Latte paired with the café's bestselling homemade cake.

"The coffee beans we use are mostly Thai beans, though we also carry imported varieties. Our primary bean is from Chiang Mai's Doi Samoeng, available in both medium and dark roasts. Our signature homemade bakery item is the Sweet Corn Crumber. What makes it special is the crumble itself—I believe it's unlike anywhere else—with the perfect balance of saltiness and sweet aroma.

Another favorite is the Basque Burnt Cheesecake. We intentionally keep the sweetness low so it's not cloying, and the price is fair and accessible to everyone."

A special exhibition highlighting Thailand's traditional national dress, Chud Thai, has opened at the National Museum of Korea, offering visitors a chance to explore the elegance of Thai fashion alongside the launch of the museum's Amazing Thailand: Masterpieces of Thai Art exhibition.

According to the museum, the display features a collection of Chud Thai costumes that showcase the harmony between Thailand's traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. The exhibition aims to introduce Korean visitors to the cultural significance and artistic beauty of Thai attire, which has become one of the country's most recognisable cultural symbols.

The museum noted that Thailand's modern national dress was revitalised in the 1960s under the patronage of Queen Sirikit. The redesigned costumes have since come to represent Thai identity on the international stage and are frequently worn at official ceremonies and cultural events.

The Chud Thai exhibition is being held in the Grand Hall of the National Museum of Korea's permanent exhibition building from 22 June to 16 July, coinciding with the special exhibition Amazing Thailand: Masterpieces of Thai Art. While disagreements are natural in democracy, they must be resolved through reason, dialogue, and legal processes—not through force or violence.

4. Legal authorities should determine right and wrong. Disputes and allegations regarding misconduct or abuse of authority should be investigated and adjudicated by competent legal authorities through proper judicial processes. All parties should respect the rule of law and accept outcomes without bias.

5. Joint demands: The organizations call on all parties to end all forms of violence and confrontation, adopt dialogue and mutual listening, uphold the rule of law and good governance, respect all parties' dignity and honor, maintain the credibility and integrity of local government organizations, and prioritize public welfare.
