ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong has spoken about muay thai legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon, saying lawsuits involving the fighter are currently ongoing in Thailand, Singapore, and Japan. Sityodtong noted that Rodtang's camp at Jitmuangnon oversees his affairs and that he still communicates with them, though he is uncertain what may happen next.
Sityodtong described Rodtang as genuinely good-hearted but susceptible to poor influence. He explained that since Rodtang became famous and wealthy, new people around him have been feeding him bad advice and leading him astray. According to Sityodtong, Rodtang had a new personal manager last year who made numerous mistakes, requiring lawyers in Japan, Singapore, and Thailand to handle the fallout. Sityodtong stated he is unaware of all the details in each country's legal proceedings.
