PM Anuthín Says Government Won't Clarify Senate Seat Row
PM Anuthín said the government won't clarify a disputed Senate seat, insisting those responsible should provide explanations while legal proceedings continue against iLaw director Yingcheep Atchananont.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anuthín Charnvirakul said at the Ministry of Interior on August 3 that he is doing his part, but clarification should come from those responsible. The government has no involvement with the Senate and is not the party that needs to explain the matter. When asked if a complaint has been filed against Yingcheep Atchananont, director of the Internet Law Project (iLaw), Anuthín said legal proceedings are underway. His lawyer, Suphachai Jaisamut, a lawmaker on Bhumjaithai's party list, is handling the case.
