Prime Minister Anuthon Chanyaweerakul is preparing to travel to Kamillian Hospital this afternoon to visit and provide encouragement to the injured victims of the train-bus collision near the Mukkasan intersection. The accident involved a freight train striking an air-conditioned public bus route 206 at the Mukkasan railway crossing on Asoke-Din Daeng Road, leaving approximately 25 people injured and 8 dead. On May 17, 2026, Prime Minister Anuthon Chanyaweerakul and the Interior Minister plan to visit the patients being treated at Kamillian Hospital to monitor their conditions and offer support at 1 p.m.
