Speaking at Government House on May 18, 2025, he stated the government is proceeding according to proper procedures and constitutional requirements. The PM stressed that while opposition parties may not view the measure as urgent, the government considers all public suffering a pressing matter demanding immediate action. He confirmed the decree has been officially issued and published in the Royal Gazette, with Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilpraphan overseeing the Constitutional Court presentation. The Thai Help Thai Plus program will be submitted to the cabinet meeting on May 19 as scheduled.
