Pokémon 30th Anniversary Fun Run Arrives in Bangkok

The Pokémon Company partners with Central Pattana to host Pokémon RUN 30: Thailand Edition on January 9–10, 2027, at the plaza in front of CentralWorld shopping center in Bangkok, celebrating 30 years of Pokémon. The event invites fans and runners to experience an adventure in the Pokémon world through activities along the route. Pokémon RUN is a fun run that combines exercise with activities from the Pokémon world. It was first held in Taiwan under the name Pokémon RUN Carnival 2015 before expanding to many countries across Asia, including Thailand for the 30th anniversary.

Participants begin their adventure by choosing a partner Pokémon before running through various missions, including gym battles, encountering Pokémon in the forest, searching for Pokémon to fill the Pokédex Search Sheet, and the chance to evolve their partner. Themed activity stations create an atmosphere as if trainers are truly inside the Pokémon world.

A Festival Zone will also be open free to the public without requiring run registration. It features a Time Tunnel looking back at 30 years of Pokémon history, zones showcasing the latest content, Meet & Greet sessions with Pikachu, and a Pokémon Pop-up Store for exclusive merchandise.

UNIQLO and 7-ELEVEN are official sponsors, providing special activities and experiences. Registered runners receive a Pokémon RUN 30 Runner's Kit including an event T-shirt from UNIQLO.

During the press launch in Bangkok, exclusive Pokémon RUN 30 merchandise was also unveiled to Thai media.
