Police Search Home Of Thai Air Hostess Arrested In Australia
Police and narcotics officers raided the home of a Thai flight attendant's mother in Phayao after the woman was arrested for smuggling drugs into Australia, finding ordinary living conditions with no signs of unusual wealth.
On June 30, authorities from the Anti-Money Laundering Office Region 5 and investigators from Phu Kam Yao Police Station in Phayao conducted a search of a residence in Huay Kaew Subdistrict, Phu Kam Yao District, Phayao—the home of a Thai air hostess detained on charges of smuggling drugs into Australia. When questioned, the suspect's mother and stepfather refused to provide any information. Only neighboring residents confirmed that the air hostess does not live with her family, visiting the house only occasionally during holidays. Officials found the house to be a standard single-story concrete residence with no signs of unusual wealth or suspicious activity. Authorities documented their findings and recorded statements as evidence.
