Police Seize 210 kg Ice, Arrest Two in Bangkok Bust

Following an investigation, police arrested two major agents in the Bang Bon area and seized 210 kg of ice at a gas station on Kanchanaphisek Road while they were switching drivers to transport the drugs to their destination. On October 28, 2026, Pol. Maj. Gen. Samran Nuanma, Commissioner; Pol. Maj. Gen. Itthipol Atchariyapradit, Deputy Commissioner/Commander of the Metropolitan Police Division 1; Pol. Col. Thira Det Thammasuthee, Deputy Commander of Investigation Division; and Pol. Lt. Col. Sakya Saengwan, Deputy Commander of Sub-Division 1, ordered Pol. Lt. Col. Wichai Sonsakul, Superintendent of Sub-Division 1, along with investigation officers, to apprehend Mr. Natdanai, 43, and Mr. Saichon, 44, along with approximately 210 kilograms of ice and a white Hyundai H1 van with Bangkok license plates at the parking lot of a PTT gas station on Kanchanaphisek Road, Macro Ring Road branch, Khlong Bang Phran sub-district, Bang Bon district, Bangkok. The arrest stemmed from investigators uncovering a major drug trafficking network in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. They conducted close surveillance until around 11:30 PM on October 27, when they spotted a suspicious van pull into the gas station. Another vehicle arrived to pick up the van's driver, and shortly after, a third vehicle pulled up beside the van and a passenger got out to take the wheel. Police moved in immediately, arresting both suspects. A search of the van revealed suspicious sacks containing a total of over 210 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. Police initially charged them with "jointly possessing a Category 1 narcotic (ice) with intent to sell without permission." The suspects and all evidence were transferred to Sub-Division 1 for booking and then to the Metropolitan Police Division 1 investigators for prosecution, while police continue to expand the investigation to seize assets and arrest other network members.
