Prachuap Routs Pattani; Ratchaburi United Claims First Point
Ratchaburi United earned their first point as a top-flight club with a 1-1 draw against Lampang, while Prachuap dominated Pattani 3-0 in Thai League 2026-27 action.
Ratchaburi United, newcomers to Thailand's top flight, claimed a historic first point for the club after drawing 1-1 at home against Lampang Warrior on September 19 in Thai League 2026-27. Lampang took the lead in the 24th minute through Withaya Moolwong after a defensive scramble, but Ratchaburi equalized when 42-year-old striker Gilberto Machena used his chest to control the ball before striking with his right foot in the 35th minute. The draw marked the first point for both teams after two consecutive losses.
In a separate match at Tinsulanan Stadium in Songkhla, Prachuap FC demolished Pattani 3-0 with goals from Satharut Kanyarojana in the 28th minute, Tataove Ferreira from the penalty spot in the 68th minute, and Edgar Mendez in the 85th minute. Pattani had 10 men on the pitch after Kitti Gaewnongdaeng received a second yellow card, resulting in a red. Prachuap advanced to 6 points from three matches, while Pattani remained on 4 points after suffering their first defeat.
