PROEN Donates Free Cloud Resources to Youth-Built Flood Alert Platform
PROEN Corp is providing free cloud infrastructure to power a real-time flood reporting platform built in four hours by a 17-year-old student and rescue volunteers in Chachoengsao. The system helps residents track water levels and coordinate aid during flooding. The company says the move aligns with its nine-year CSR mission to use technology for social benefit, which has also included pandemic relief donations, solar installations at schools, and educational scholarships nationwide.
PROEN Corp is accelerating its cloud business by demonstrating its digital infrastructure capabilities through free support for the Chachoengsao Flood Reporting Platform, moving cloud services toward practical public use. Chief Executive Kittiphan Sribuayiam announced the company is providing PROEN Cloud resources at no cost to upgrade the platform built by Thai youth 'Nong Ter' — 17-year-old Nanthaphat Jitrangsan, a Grade 12 student at Sujipuli School in Chachoengsao. Working with the We Love Pae Riw Facebook page and Chachoengsao rescue officials, he developed a real-time flood reporting website in only four hours so residents could access water-level data and coordinate help quickly. Kittiphan said the initiative applies PROEN's infrastructure expertise to a community-driven tool, reinforcing the firm's mission to leverage digital resources for social good and improved quality of life during emergencies. Since 2017, PROEN has run continuous CSR programs, including the 'Share Water from Brothers to Sisters' project, donations of alcohol, cash, and ventilators to hospitals in Lopburi and Bangkok during COVID-19, and the provision of solar-power systems, sports gear, scholarships, and online-learning tools to students across Thailand.
