A red-shirt group held a countdown event outside Khlong Prem Central Prison celebrating the conditional release and parole of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on May 11. On May 3, 2025, red-shirt leaders including Dr. Payoor Klongyot, Phomsai Chalemsaen, Worrachai Heme, and Atthachai Anantmek took turns delivering speeches to mark Thaksin's release and supervised probation. Large numbers of red-shirt supporters participated in the gathering, and organizers distributed 350 lottery ticket pairs to boost morale among participants counting down to Thaksin's return. A follow-up countdown event is scheduled for May 10 from 2:00 PM to midnight, with the main welcoming reception beginning May 11 at 7:00 AM.
