Shock as Python Flees into Car Engine, Locals Rush to Check Lucky Numbers
Rescue units captured a large python from a vehicle's engine compartment in Nakhon Ratchasima after it fled into the truck at a rental home; locals subsequently sought lucky lottery numbers from the incident's details.
On May 13, rescue units from Sikhiu were called to help capture a large python that had fled into the engine compartment of a vehicle at a home in the Sikhiu Garden area, Sikhiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Rescuers found a white Chevrolet pickup truck with Sakaew license plate parked at a rental house, with the python hidden inside the engine compartment.
Rescue workers carefully used equipment to capture the snake while onlookers watched anxiously. After about 20 minutes, they successfully removed the python and released it back into nature.
The vehicle owner explained that around 6:25 PM on May 13, he heard something crash into his front door. When he and his girlfriend came out to check, they discovered it was a large python. They tried to chase it away, but the snake instead darted into the engine compartment of their pickup truck, forcing them to call rescuers.
Following the incident, many lottery enthusiasts wasted no time searching for lucky numbers from the vehicle's license plate (1468), the house number (127/23), and the time of the incident (18.25), hoping to use these for the upcoming lottery draw. Some even believed the python entering the vehicle was an auspicious sign.
