Solo Arsenal Fan Cycles Through Town Celebrating Championship After 22 Years
A 39-year-old barber in Phetchabun celebrates Arsenal's first Premier League title in 22 years by cycling through town with team flags, fulfilling a decades-long dream as a devoted fan since the Invincibles era.
On May 25, 2025, reporters received a tip about a young man wearing an Arsenal shirt cycling through Phetchabun Municipality with Arsenal flags attached to his bicycle. They tracked down the cyclist, identified as Udorn Pachaat, 39, a barber who operates a shop on the Phetchabun bypass road in Sadieng subdistrict. Pachaat revealed he has been an ardent Arsenal supporter since their Invincibles era, cheering them through thick and thin, always hoping for their return to Premier League glory. This season, Arsenal finally delivered, though he nervously feared Manchester City might snatch the title away. When Arsenal secured the championship after more than 20 years, Pachaat was overjoyed and decided to celebrate by cycling through Phetchabun town in his Arsenal jersey with team flags flying from his bike. Despite riding alone, he felt no shame—some locals smiled and gave him thumbs up, bringing him great happiness. He plans to continue these celebratory rides whenever he has free time after work. Beyond the Premier League trophy, Pachaat is eagerly awaiting Arsenal's UEFA Champions League final, which has eluded the club for 139 years and will be played in the coming days. To mark the Premier League victory, he's seeking his wife's permission to buy a replica Premier League trophy to display at his shop. He also wanted to send a message to rival fans: "Arsenal is back now and will win the championship again—multiple times. Prepare yourselves."
