At 9:00 AM on April 29, 2025, during a House of Representatives session chaired by Deputy House Speaker Mallika Jirapon Warich, Songkhla MP Sakdisit Khaotuang of the Democrat Party raised concerns about the delayed disbursement of 1.098 billion baht approved for home repairs benefiting over 60,000 households in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province. "The flood occurred six months ago and people are still waiting," Sakdisit said, noting the lack of clarity on when transfers would be completed and questioning the fairness of allocations, with some households receiving incomplete or insufficient amounts. He requested information on appeal procedures and called for urgent clarification from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and relevant officials. Regarding livestock farmers in Songkhla Province, Sakdisit pointed out that 1,725 farmers who suffered losses from animal deaths have yet to receive compensation totaling over 114 million baht. He urged the Department of Livestock director and overseeing minister to provide a clear timeline for compensation distribution so affected farmers can rebuild their livelihoods.
