A cremation ceremony was held for a 15-year-old Grade 9 student in Buriram province who took her own life in a dormitory after allegedly being bullied by classmates about her appearance. Teachers and classmates attended the funeral at a temple in Satuek district to pay their final respects. The victim's mother, who traveled from another province, remains in deep shock and is unable to accept the loss. Preliminary investigations revealed the student had complained to household members about being bullied by classmates. The ceremony on October 25 took place amid profound grief, with the mother not yet ready to speak to the media.
