A 39-year-old truck driver died after falling under the wheels of a 22-wheel semi-trailer truck on July 18, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. on Liang Khlong Karai Road in Krathumban district, Samut Sakhon province. Police Lieutenant Prawit Krongsiri, the investigating deputy superintendent of Krathumban station, responded to reports of a man crushed by a semi-trailer truck. Officers coordinated with Krathumban Hospital and rescue units from the Ruam Katanyoo Foundation to the scene, where they found the 39-year-old victim with severe lower-body injuries from being run over. A 22-wheel semi-trailer truck was parked nearby with blood marks on the rear-right wheel and a detached right-front bumper guard on the road. Atit stated that he had parked at a red light to wait for a truck reversal when the victim, another truck driver parked nearby, climbed down and accused him of rear-ending him and damaging his plastic bumper. Atit denied the collision, which led to a confrontation. The victim climbed to the truck door to retrieve the ignition keys, but Atit grabbed them first. The victim then hung onto the window and kicked the mudguard near the wheels. Atit said he twisted the key and drove off immediately to seek police or security help at his company because he feared being attacked.

"During the drive, I knew the victim was holding onto the truck," Atit explained. "I kept driving, but he wouldn't stay still. He tried to climb toward me and kicked the mudguard by the wheels until it broke off as you can see. In the end, he fell and was run over by the rear wheels."
