Thailand Sports Authority Appoints New Director, Reassigns Deputy
Thailand Sports Authority appointed Prodpran Samanmit as its new director starting October 1, while promoting Samjrod Mingkhamlert to deputy director overseeing professional and boxing sports.
Deputy Prime Minister Songsakdi Thongsri presided over the seventh 2025 meeting of the Thailand Sports Authority board, held on September 17 at Government House in Bangkok. Thailand Sports Authority director Khongsak Yodmani and board members attended the session at the meeting room on the third floor of the main administrative building.
The board approved the recruitment and employment contract for a new Thailand Sports Authority director, appointing Prodpran Samanmit to the position with approved compensation and contract terms. The appointment requires Finance Ministry approval and Cabinet endorsement under applicable law, with an effective date of October 1, 2025.
The board also approved the reassignment of a level-10 executive deputy director, endorsing the transfer of Samjrod Mingkhamlert from her role as Thailand Sports Authority adviser to deputy director overseeing professional and boxing sports, effective October 1, 2025.
