Following the tragic Ladprao beer bar fire on the night of July 12 that killed 34 people and injured many others, the family of Maneeratna Bomglang, 38, a nursing assistant and one of the victims, held her cremation ceremony at Jatukham Machimaram Temple in Lamplaimat District, Buriram Province. BANGKOK: The governments proposal to encourage civil servants as young as 40 years old to leave the bureaucracy voluntarily could become one of the most ambitious efforts in years to reduce the size of the state workforce.

Nearly 1,000 small farmers from nine northeastern provinces, including Udon Thani, Surin, Sisaket, Chaiyaphum, and Ubon Ratchathani, gathered at a cattle farm in Kudchum District, Yasothon Province on July 19, 2026 to welcome Deputy Prime Minister Yuthasak Wongsodsadi and his team during their poverty relief fieldwork.
