A trailer truck lost control on an overpass in Chonburi Province and flipped onto a green electric vehicle, leaving three people injured in the August 1 crash at Nong Mai Daeng.
A trailer truck lost control while descending an overpass and flipped onto a green Deepal electric vehicle traveling in an adjacent lane, crushing the car halfway. Three people were injured in the crash on August 1 at the Nong Mai Daeng overpass exit in Muang District, Chonburi Province.
Muang Chonburi Police and rescue workers from the Trikultum Foundation responded to the scene. The trailer had lost stability while exiting the bridge, then rolled over and crushed the electric vehicle with devastating force.
Two female passengers in the EV—51-year-old Jariya and 34-year-old Laphaslal—suffered back and body pain. The trailer driver was also injured and hospitalized. Dashcam footage from a following vehicle clearly recorded the moment the trailer began losing control before flipping rapidly and crushing the EV without warning.
