The Department of Community Development is continuing its "Amazing Market: Food, Essentials, and Quality Thai Products" initiative with a new online OTOP campaign called "Travel & Holidays—Shop for a Trip, Travel with Fun, Get Every Deal." The campaign runs through two major platforms: Shopee and Nex Gen Commerce, supporting entrepreneurs in opening online stores, expanding marketing channels, creating jobs, and learning new product development and sales techniques.

Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Department of Community Development, explained that the 2025 fiscal year program operates under the concept of "6 CARNIVALS OTOP Amazing," with six monthly campaigns running from June through November 2025. Shopee is the leading e-commerce platform, while Nex Gen Commerce is a new Thai-based platform prioritizing Thai products. Both platforms are running coordinated campaigns lasting approximately 30 days each.

The first campaign, "Mid Year Grand Sale," ran June 1-30 and received strong response, with entrepreneurs reporting increased sales through promotions and discounts on both platforms. The second campaign, "Travel & Holidays—Shop for a Trip, Travel with Fun, Get Every Deal," runs July 1-31, 2025. OTOP entrepreneurs interested in opening online stores, learning product development, mastering new sales techniques, and expanding marketing channels can contact district and provincial community development offices throughout the project period.

A Shopee Thailand representative expressed delight at continuing the partnership as the first official e-commerce partner, noting the platform has prepared six special promotions from June through November 2025 aligned with Shopee's monthly marketing campaigns under the concept of "Complete, Value, Guaranteed at Shopee."

Nex Gen Commerce, a Thai e-commerce platform committed to "Thai Platform, Supporting Thai Business," backs entrepreneurs at all levels from SMEs to OTOP and community enterprises with a flat 1% commission fee. The platform emphasizes data sovereignty by storing information within Thailand's infrastructure and giving merchants access to customer data for marketing growth and sustainable business expansion. The platform is supporting six consecutive special campaigns from June onward.
