A woman reported a shocking assault that occurred around 9 p.m. on May 17 at the jogging area near Chachoengsao Provincial Hall. While exercising with her husband, she became separated from him and was approached by two teenage boys. One boy pulled her exercise shirt over her head, exposing her back and undergarments, before the other boy struck her face repeatedly with durian shells. The first attacker then punched her multiple times until she fell to the ground. Fortunately, nearby residents witnessed the incident and shouted, causing the two attackers to flee on a motorcycle, leaving the durian shells behind. The victim sustained visible bruising and scratches on her face and left shoulder. She has filed a police report at Muang Chachoengsao Police Station but remains confused about the motive, stating she has never had conflicts with anyone and was simply exercising as usual. She hopes police will apprehend the perpetrators and reveal why they targeted her.
