KU Alumni Class of 30 and Family Donate 500,000 Baht to Support Medical Faculty Hospital Construction

Kasetsart University Alumni Class of 30 and their family donated 500,000 baht to support the construction of the Medical Faculty and Hospital. The donation was received by Dr. Damrong Sriparam, Acting President, from Khun Wanchai Charoenying on February 18, 2026, at the university's 50-year Information Building. The Medical Faculty was established for teaching, research, medical education, and healthcare services, focusing on Agro-Medicine and Bio-Innovation. The university aims to become an international educational institution and address critical changes in health, public health, economic, and social situations globally, particularly in light of COVID-19, zoonotic diseases, and emerging health challenges. Currently, the first two medical student cohorts have 47 students each, the first nursing student cohort has 63 students, and they plan to admit 24 pharmacy students in the 2026 academic year. Construction is ongoing for medical teaching facilities in various locations, including Bangkok and provincial hospitals.
