KU Alumni Group and University Departments Donate Funds for Kasetsart Hospital Construction

Kasetsart University alumni from Class 17 and various university departments have joined together to donate funds for the university's hospital construction. Acting President Dr. Damrong Sri-Param received donations from several groups, including: 1) A technology and innovation leadership program that donated 100,000 baht, 2) The Sports, Arts, and Culture Department, along with Student Development and Buddhist Kasetsart Foundation, contributing 56,265.75 baht from a traditional candle festival event, 3) The Kasetsart University Mahachat Sermon Project donating 242,933.72 baht after expenses, and 4) KU Alumni Class 17 donating 262,000 baht. The medical faculty aims to establish a 400-bed hospital focusing on agricultural medicine and bio-innovation, with the goal of developing sustainable healthcare for Thai people. Currently, the university has 47 medical students in its first two cohorts, 63 nursing students, and plans to admit 24 pharmacy students in the 2026 academic year.
