40 Schools in Lad Lum Kaeo Declared Emergency Closed

On February 18, 2024, police are pursuing Nopparat, known as 'L', a suspect who has been threatening children with a firearm in Lad Lum Kaeo District, Pathum Thani Province. Police leadership, including Provincial Police Commander Pol. Lt. Gen. Peerapol Chotisathien, have been meeting to expedite his capture. Provincial officials have also offered a 50,000 baht reward for information leading to his arrest. The emergency school closures now affect 40 educational institutions, including schools like Sarasas Withed Bangyai, Marie Witaya, and several community and private schools in the area. These closures are a precautionary measure to ensure student safety while the suspect remains at large.
