Police Reveal Cause of Death for Quentin Griffiths, Global Fashion Company Co-Founder, in Pattaya
Police have confirmed the death of Quentin Griffiths, a 58-year-old British multi-millionaire and co-founder of the online fashion retail company ASOS, who fell from the 17th floor of a luxury condominium in Pattaya on February 9th. According to Police Colonel Anek Sratongyu of Pattaya Police Station, the deceased was found on the ground near the building, with his room door locked from the inside. Investigators found no signs of struggle and noted he had been drinking. Documents in his car revealed he was a defendant in a court case, leading police to speculate that stress might have driven him to take his own life. Griffiths, who co-founded ASOS in 2000 and previously received 15 million pounds from selling shares, had been living in Thailand since 2007 and had previously been married to a Thai woman before their relationship ended in legal disputes.
